Samantha in Maniratnam Film

Manirathnam has already completed a week shooting of his next film that had to go through little rounds of hurdles pertaining to the title. Finally, the ace director has finalized the title ‘Kadal’ as the film is set in coastal backdrops.

The first leg of shooting is scheduled at Thenkasi that involves the participation of almost everyone in the crew including Aravind Saamy, who makes his comeback into showbiz after a long interval. The film marks the debut of yesteryear actor Karthik’s son Gautham and Samantha in lead role while Action King Arjun plays a major role in this movie.

A R Rahman is reported of having completed couple of tracks for the film.
