Pooja is currently busy in the film ‘Paradesi’, which features Pooja,
Adharvaa, Vedhika and Uma Riyaz Khan. It is directed by Bala and
produced by Prasad V.Potluri under the banner PVP Cinema.
Pooja is very happy to act in this Bala film. Earlier too, she has acted in the Bala film ‘Naan Kadavul’, which also featured Arya, Pooja and many others. She was supposed to get National award for her performances in that movie itself.
On asking whether Pooja has got the laurels, which she deserves, Pooja replied, “I will not say anything negative about Kollywood. Because, whatever I am today, is just because of Tamil cinema only. Apart from all the other things, one should have good luck and it should favor us at the right time”.
Pooja is always in praise of Director Bala. She said, “Bala is like a strict father. Though the strictness of the father helps us in getting good marks, his strictness with the child during exams would not be always liked by the children. But, finally it serves for the betterment of the children’s future. Apart from the shooting timings, he is a very cool person and encourages all artists”.
