Actress and director Nandita
Das, who impressed the Tamil audience and critics with her performance
in Azhagi, Vishwa Tulasi and Kannathil Muthamittal, will be seen playing
an important role in Seenu Ramasamy’s Neer Paravai. Seenu Ramasamy, who
directed the National Award winning Thenmerku Paruvakatru, said that
the character Nandita Das is about to play in Neer Paravai has the
intensity of the role Saranya Ponvannan did in Thenmerku Paruvakaatru.
He also cited Nandita’s extraordinary talent as the factor for casting
her.
The actress will be shooting for the film in May. Presently the
film’s crew is at the coastal region of Tiruchendur. The film is being
produced by Red Giant Movies. It features Vishnu and Sunaina in lead
roles. Jayamohan has penned the dialogues for the film.
