Actress Samantha Out of Mani's Kadal

The hot news in the tinsel town is that Samantha is out of Mani Ratnam’s Kadal. We hear that the actress has date issues and could not allot the call sheet that the veteran director had required. Mani Ratnam is now scouting for a suitable heroine to pair up with debutant Gautham, son of film star Karthik.

Samantha is currently starring in Neethaane En Ponvasantham directed by Gautham Menon and is expecting the release of Naan Ee very soon. Interestingly, both these films are bilingual and will be out in Telugu as well.

The actress was first seen in a small role in Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya and was seen in a number of films since then. She also has an enviable list of films in her kitty.
