Aintham Padai Movie Review

Aitham Padai has Sundar C’s usual mix of sentiments, family drama, romance and Comedy which has spelled success for Sundar C on numerous other occasions and goes on to do the same with Aintham Padai too.
Aintham Padai centers around five brothers which include Gunasekhar (Nasser) , Thanthoni (Vivek), Karunakaran (Mukesh), Prabhakaran (Sundar) and Sai. The five brothers are constantly in loggerheads with Dhanushkodi and family. It is revealed in the flash back that the brother of Danushkodi family who is Raj Kapoor had forcibly married Mukesh’s fiancee Devayani and later was killed by Prabhakaran.
Devasena(Simran) who is the niece of Danushkodi has her eye on Prabakaran but ends up marrying his brother Mukesh instead. Prabha has his eyes set on a student Gayathri(Adithi).

Simran who vows revenge, has her own set of devious plans to separate Sundar C from the family. The rest of the movie is about how Sundar C breaks her plan and tries to maintain the peace and unity of the family.
Aintham Padai is a mass family entertainer. Sundar C’s romance with Adithi, his misunderstanding with Simran, his re-uniting Devayani with his elder brother Nasser, all form part of the plot. It’s commendable that both the senior actresses get substantial roles and have acquitted themselves creditably. Vivek adds to the comedy in the movie.
