When asked Namitha that how she manages her fans at the outdoor shooting spots, she said,” It’s really a tough job. Each fan differs.
Some fans come to me speak to me and go away decently. They are satisfied with this. But some will pinch me. Though it is painful I have to bear with it and smile. Because for all artists, fans are very important.
But there are some fans who behave in a worst manner. It is very tough to manage such kind of people. But I somehow manage to move out of that place before any commotion take place.Many are asking me whether I am reducing my weight because of the competition of Asin, Shreya and Trisha. They are all my close friends.
My other friends had asked me to reduce my weight. Because of this I was on strict diet and reduced my weight by 8 kilos. I participated in the Miss Universe competition along with Priyanka Chopra. I lost because I couldn’t speak English.
Because of this I became persistent and now I am able to speak English with such fluency. After loosing the competition I wanted to try my hand in cinema. I tried very hard to get into cinema. Now I am having big fans. I am so happy now. This success is due to the humiliation I had to face earlier. I decided to reduce my weight and I have reduced it now.”
