Mira Chopra, who is known as Nila in Tamil film circuit, has come out with a bold statement that acting is only a part-time profession for her.
“Yes, hotel is my full-time business. We are running a hotel at New York and I often shuttle between America and India to take care of it. Hence I am not that keen in making it big in tinsel town,” she says.
“We also have plans to expand the business in India with the brand name ‘Mirrage’, coined from my name and that of my dad. So I would act only if meaty roles knock my door.”
The actress, who is currently doing the bi-lingual ‘Jaganmohini’, a remake of a yesteryear Vittalacharya hit, adds: “I am however ready to do challenging roles like the one I am acting in Jaganmohini. Remuneration is not my concern”
