Not most of the filmmakers have implemented such tactics over experimenting the film’s climax. But just as Gowtham Menon uttered that he loves risking with his own production and not others had different climaxes for Telugu and Tamil versions. The Telugu version – ‘Ye Maya Chesavo’ had a happy ending with the lead characters Karthik and Jessie entering into nuptials and in contrast was ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’. But, with few audiences feeling indignant at the sad ending in Tamil version, the film’s climax has been modified on a happy note. Yes, the film’s climax has been completely changed in all theatres except Chennai. It’s justly because audiences of ‘B’ and ‘C’ centres couldn’t accept the pragmatic end as it wasn’t in the case of multiplex audiences.According to the reports, the film ends on happy note with Simbhu and Trisha walking out of theatre and the dialogue sequences between them have been deleted.Let’s hope this brings more hope on film’s box results as there would be repeat audiences.
