Nayanthara and Asin hail from Kerala. Both of them were leading actress in Tamil cinema. Both of them paired with all the leading actors. They got the number one position also.Asin has pushed back Nayanthara by debuting in Hindi films. There were rumors that there was cold war between the two. At this point, the Malayalam film Body Guard is being remade in Tamil with the title Kavalkaran. Vijay is doing the lead role. In the Malayalam version Nayanthara did the female lead role while in Tamil version Asin will be doing this role.
When asked Nayanthara whether she advised Asin about acting in this film, she said,” No actress will ask another actress’s advice. They will not like that. As far as Asin is concerned, she is not a new face. She has got her own style of acting. Asin’s market is very strong in Tamil. She is a goo actress and she knows how to act in the role she is given.”
