Vijay is doing AL Vijay`s next film to be produced by Chandrakanth Jain. The buzz was that AL Vijay wanted to cast Amala Paul, but it did not work out due to various reasons.
It was then AL Vijay had a meeting with Samantha who is riding wave in Tamil after the stupendous success of Naan Ee. Samantha who had recently said ‘No’ to Shankar’s I and Mani Ratnam`s Kadal, seems to be happy to do a film with Ilayathalapathy.
Samantha the smart girl that she is knows that to reach dizzy heights in Tamila heroine
has to be cast opposite big superstars. She had experienced it in
Telugu when her film Dookudu with Mahesh Babu made her popular in
Tollywood.
If all goes well Samantha will be signing up to be Vijay’s heroine in a film directed by Vijay!
