Director Bharathiraja broke his arm when he suffered a fall this morning during his morning walk. The freak incident happened when his dog, accidentally, whisked away from its leash causing him to trip over. The director was attended to immediately and it is learnt that the doctors advised him a few week’s rest.
Bharathiraja is playing a significant role in the Shankar Pictures production venture Rettaisuzhi alongside veteran director Balachander. Following the accident, the shoots of the movie are likely to be stalled momentarily.
