Kannan made his directorial debut with ‘Jayam Kondan’ starring Vinay and Bhavana in lead roles. Earlier, working with Mani Rathnam for various films, his first direction was a sensational hit getting ennobled as ‘Best Family Entertainer’. Yesterday morning, he got married to Madhana at Green Park Hotel, here in Chennai. His mentor’s wife Suhasini was present representing her husband. Mani Rathnam couldn’t make up for the occasion as he is busy shooting for his ‘Ashokavanam’ there in Madhya Pradesh. Also present for the occasion were Actor Vinay, Bharath, Producer Dhananjayan, Producers of Satyajyothi Films, Music Director Vidhyasagar, Actress Deepa Venkat and many others were present for the gracious occasion.
