Reports flow in that a document looking very authentic containing the winners of the Oscar Awards has been leaked. It also contains the signature of the President of the Academy Awards Sid Ganis. Unfortunately, A.R. Rahman’s name does not find a place in the list.
As per the spoilsport document, Slumdog Millionaire is the best film and its director Danny Boyle is the best director. While Kate Winslet has been adjudged the best actress, Mickey Rourke is the best actor as per
the document. The representatives of the Oscar Committee have said that no such document ever existed and ballot counting is still on.
With such an assurance from the Oscar Committee, let us hope that Rahman gets the much deserved Oscar and do India proud!
