Felicitation for Rahman

The Cine Musicians’ Union has announced a special felicitation function for the musical genius A R Rahman for winning the most coveted Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe awards. This function will take place on 1st March 2009 at 6 p.m at the Cine Musicians’ Union Auditorium located at No. 297, NSK Salai, Vadapalani. Dr.M Balamurali Krishna will be the Chief Guest while other dignitaries like AVM Saravanan, K Balachandar, M S Viswananthan and Ilayaraja will grace the occasion along with other eminent members of the music world. The telecast rights are bagged by SUN TV.
