‘Jeyam’ Ravi who hadn’t witnessed a single hit away alone from his brother ‘Raja’ has all his hopes on ‘Peraanmai’. Earlier, he had lots of expectations mounted on ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ that went down to be a flop show. ‘Peraanmai’ directed by SP Jananathan features Jeyam Ravi in the role of a forest officer who along with his 5-man Army must safeguard his motherland from the aliens of foreign country.
Though there are 5 actresses in the film, there are no romantic or peppy item numbers. The film is all about action packed sequences blended with a gripping screenplay. Jananathan was working on editing for the canned shots and the entire team has resumed shooting now at the woody backdrop of ‘Thalakonam’ area near Tirupathi.
