Starring: Jeeva, Anbu, Manonmani, Kuttymani, Mangalam, Pakkada & OthersMusic: James VasanthanProduction: M. SasikumarDirection: Pandiraj
Subramaniapuram fame Sasikumar producing the movie “Pasanga” starts with a happy and enjoyable giggles of students at the title track. The movie is all about the conflict between two eleven year old kids. Kishore (Anbukkarasu) transferred to Pasanga government school because of poor economic condition of his family. Another boy Sriram (Jeeva) son of the class teacher and enjoys special care and privileges even he was very dull in his studies.
Kishore in short time earns good name among all teachers which doesn’t like by Jeeva. Both of them got angry with each other and it grows heaps affecting the relationship between their families. The story twists further when Anbu’s uncle Sundaram (Vimal) falls in love with Jeeva’s sister Sobikannu(Vega). Will their enmity turns into good heartiness or animosity continue to carry on forms rest of the story.
Anbukkarasu’s father, mother and his uncle characters were portrayed well but nothing was said about Jeeva’s dad and makes audiences puzzled. The screenplay appeared to be cracking, dialogues are creditable and camerawork is commendable. Phone romance chat between Vimal and Vega is highlight of the movie. Music Director James Vasanthan done a job similar to of Subramaniapuram.
Overall Director Pandiraj done a recommendable job of taking children as his storyline and there are some shortcomings in the movie if it has been avoided the movie will be satisfied by all. The story may like only by children’s and parents up to an extent.
