Ethirmarai with lots of technical extravaganzas

When producers do ask about your experience in assistant director, it’s really hard to convince them and gain the chance of wielding megaphone. Perhaps, today’s younger generation seems to be striding away from the clichéd paths. The film ‘Ethirmarai’ has a chemical engineer gearing up for a bold attempt of making this film. He hasn’t worked as an assistant director and just underwent a short term course in filmmaking at USA.
The film deals with a CBI officer investigating a serial murder case and how his personal life is so interconnected with it. Ajay Kumar, Rakesh, Banushree, Shirina – these newcomers have been playing lead role. The posters have invigorated everyone in town for such is the best look.
Vairamuthu has penned lyrics with debutant Murugan Mohan tuning melodies. Billa fame Jagan choreographs the stunts and Dhanya from Kolkotta will design costumes
This is the first ever Indian film to be shot using both ‘Red One Camera’ and ‘Phantom’ that has the clarity of 2K Digital. Cinematographer Dinesh holds the credits of being first Indian cinematographer to crank the ‘Phantom’ camera.
