Actress Rohini is currently acting in stage plays. Recently when she spoke to the media she said,” Many are asking me the reason for not acting in films. The reason is that I have the responsibility of taking care of my son.
I cannot go out of Madras for shooting for time being. In between this I am acting as a modern Paanjali in a play titled Pen Oli staged by Kannabiran Kuthu . This play is based on Bharathiar’s Paanchali Sabathaam. I am donning the role of Krishna, Bheeman and Panchali.The play is to be staged at Purush on 3rd and 4th of this month. The play will also be staged at Bharathiar’s house at Tripilcane on 11th December. I am also acting in this. Prasanna Ramasamy is directing this play.”
