When Arun Vijay and his crew started shooting for Maanja Velu at Bangkok recently they did not realize they were setting a record of sorts. Says an excited Arun Vijay who is the hero of the film, “We started the first shoot of the film in Bangkok and it was then that my director A Venkatesh told us that we had set a record in a way. Because, after the yesteryear hit Ulagam Sutrum Valiban, no other Tamil film has shot on the first day in a foreign country so far.”Now that’s interesting. Lets hope this film proves as lucky for Arun Vijay and sets a collection record as well! The film stars Prabhu, Karthik Muthuraman, Prakash Raj, Santhanam and Ganja Karuppu.
