Maasi completed at a single stretch

Action King Arjun is badly in need of a super hit flick and ‘Maasi’ has got him all his hopes pinned on it. K.S. Kovai Mani, who churned out successful flicks ‘Pattikkaattu Thambi Paattaali Magan, Vigneshwar has produced ‘Maasi’ under the banner of Anbu Latchmi Films.
G. Kiccha well known for making commercial entertainers including ‘Sarath Kumar’s ‘Netaji’, Sathyaraj starrer ‘Thangam’, Sundar.C’s ‘Thee’ and yet to release ‘Bhavani IPS’ starring Sneha in lead role is wielding megaphone for this film.
Mumbai based model Archana does the lead role with Hema Ganga, Mayilsamy, Kotta Srinivasa Rao, Santhana Bharathy, Paandu, Ponnambalam, Kalairani, Suburaj, Sathya Prakash, G.R. and ‘Ghajini’ fame Pradeep Rawath have donned prominent roles.
Arjun does the role of ‘Maasilamani’ – an aggressive cop. Though he had performed clichéd roles in the previous films, this one would be quite different from those films. Away from manhandling the baddies, this time he uses his brain works to deteriorate their evil plans.
According to the closer hands of Arjun, this is the first time the actor has completed shooting for a film at the single stretch of schedule.
