The audio launch function of Raaptor Media Films’s Rajesh J Chandan’s Madhya Chennai was a well attended event at the Kamala Theatre today.Though Parthiban was conspicuous by his absence though his name was on the invitation, Bharathi Raja was the centre of attention due to his presence. The man however has been keeping a low profile and refrains from speaking at functions. But the moment was special for director Virasingam, his former assistant who is jointly directing this film with Vivekanand, the former assistant of Parthiban.The hero Jayanth was present along with heroine Ramyabarana from Bangalore.The audio was launched by Abirami Ramanathan and received by Hansraj Saxena of Sun Pictures. Rama Narayanan, Kalaipuli Sekar, Raghava Lawrence, Ameer, Charlie and Ganja Karuppu were also present.The highlight was the presentation of special momentos consisting of giant framed Ganesha portraits to each guest on the dais. The film has Prakash Raj playing a director while the heroine plays a producer in the film.
