But the most unforgettable memory for him was when the CM Kalaignar Karunanidhi called him up to congratulate him."I will never forget the moment. The first call I got after receiving the award was from the CM congratulating me",said the actor at the AIFEC event held to honour the Kalaignar’s contribution to cinema at the Nehru Stadium. “ I admire his work. Even to this day he continues to write for cinema and he has kept pace, adapting his writing for every generation over the decades,” said Vikram.
