The Malayalam film Pazhassi Raja is successfully running in Kerala. This film is also dubbed in Tamil, Kannada and English languages and released.
Malayalam poet O N V Kurup has penned the lyrics for this film which has Mammooty and Sarathkumar in the cast. Ilayaraja has recently commented on the songs written by Kurup.
Kerala Education Minister Baby has condemned Ilayaraja for his comments on O N V Kurup. He said,” O N V Kurup is also popular person like Ilayaraja. Ilayaraja should not forget this. Probably Ilayaraja might have had memory loss and that is why he might have commented on the songs of Pazhassi Raja. This is not for good.”
