Recently, there were some of the leadingmagazine spreading facts about Silambarasan dubbing for Abhishek Bachchan in the Tamil version of Manirathnam’s ‘Raavanan’. Thosemedia channels were absolutely unaware about such a big film’s reports that Tamil version doesn’t carry Abhishek Bachchan in title cards.But the real fact was that Manirathnam wanted Abhishek Bachchan to don the same role of Raavanan instead of Vikram. However, the young Bachchan was so quite sure that it wouldn’t doing justice to the powerful and special role if he takes on without knowing Tamil.
Of course, he and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan preferred Vikram to be included in the Tamil version.
