Heavy downpour of releases for Karan has kept him going strong now. With his previous release ‘Kanagavel Kaakha’ still doing some good business across down south regions, he is ready with the release of his other film ‘Kandha’ slated to hit screens by next month.Meanwhile, there is an interesting fact about his other movie titled ‘Thambi Vetothi Sundaram’. Directed by Vadivudayan, the film features Karan, Anjali and Ganja Karuppu in lead roles with ‘Paruthiveeran’ Saravanan donning an important character.Chief Minister Karunanidhi’s eldest grandson Arivunidhi makes his debut with an interesting character. Getting on with his onscreen presence, director Vadivudayan says, “I have been running behind Arivunidhi to sign him for this role, for which he kept neglecting. Soon after watching few clippings in this film, he was spellbound and started appreciating a particular sequence, where there is a single-shot dialogue between Karan and Saravanan…”Arivunidhi has performed a challenging role in this film as a police officer and is reported to have more importance. He had previously crooned the remix version of ‘Kadhal Vaipogamae’ in Sundar C starrer ‘Perumal’.
