Rattha Charithram – a Film Without Hero and Villain

It’s getting closer now as just a week is left for the release of Suriya’s ‘Rattha Charithram’. The fans expectations are merely about Suriya’s 6-pack physique and breathtaking stunts that have paved a way of perception for ‘heroism’ factors. But the film is here to overshadow such anticipations as Suriya himself admits that the film has no rooms for such ‘Hero-Villain’ vistas.

‘This is a drama of two characters, its own problems and the situations that made them violent. There is justification behind their every action’ says Suriya on delineating the film’s nature of genre.

Ram Gopal Varma’s narrative style should be something new for the audiences, who haven’t watched his previous films. But the actor is confident that it has a hardcore reality of Mahatma Gandhi’s proverb – An eye for an eye will make the world blind, which is expressed through the song ‘Kathigalin Sagavasam’.
