The entire premises of Sathyam Cinemas was more off star-spangled looks as the most happening filmmakers of India were present for music release function of Sasikumar’s ‘Easan’. The audio CD was released by the celebrities on dais. Bollywood’s top-charting filmmaker and screenwriter Anurag Kashyap rendered a long and beautiful speech of praising Sasikumar and other filmmakers present on podium. Said Anurag Kashyap: ‘Soon as I heard about Subramaniapuram success, I wanted to speak with Sasikumar and was surprised to hear him calling me to appreciate my ‘DEV D’… Though I asked for a DVD of this film with subtitles, he was humble enough to bring the film’s reel itself to Mumbai and hosted a special screening. I want Sasikumar to soon make his debut into Bollywood and I promise him of writing the dialogues and script for the film. I also thank Sasikumar for having invited me to the occasion of sharing stage with veteran directors like K. Balachandar.’ Sasikumar in turn thanked Anurag Kashyap for helping him promote his film across various international film festivals. The others present for the occasion were – Kannada filmmaker Yoghraj Bhatt, Malayalam moviemaker Renjith, Bala, Ameer, K. Balachandar, Ramanarayanan and others.
