The film has the story which is never told before. ‘Maruthanayagam’ storyline deals with the courage of a rebel against the caste system which happened around in 1740AD.The film has started way back in 1997 and was launched by Queen Elizabeth II. As per the reports the cost of 30 minutes of the film is 45 million Indian Rupees. Financial pressures have become a barrier for the film makers to stop the film in the initial stages. There is also news about the actor and Aascar Films producer Ravichandran has faced some share differences during the shoot of ‘Dasavatharam’.
Finally everything seems to be fine and Ravichandran is all set to take the responsibility to bring this mammoth epic to the audience.
Soon an official announcement will be made in clearing the airs about the film as Kamal is in discussion with the project. With Kamal as a hero and an unbelievable production values will surely mark ‘Maruthanayagam’ as a milestone in Indian cinema.
