Acid attack in AR Muruadoss’s film… actors injured

The shooting of AR Murugadoss’s production venture Engeyum Epodhum was going on at a private hospital in Chennai when some miscreants hurled acid on the junior artistes, it has been alleged.
According to sources, the hospital authorities and the film crew indulged in an argument over payment of rent for using the premises and this ensued in a melee. The junior artistes who were at the hospital for shooting suddenly swooned and some complained of nausea and giddiness. It is said that the hospital authorities hurled acid on the artistes and the film crew filed complaint regarding this at the police station. Those who suffered from the attack have been admitted in another private hospital near by.
Engeyum Epodhum is produced by AR Murugadoss and stars Jai and Anjali in the lead roles.
