Kartina Kaif apologizes for commenting on Rahul Gandhi

Little did Katrina Kaif knew that she will get into a controversy for comparing herself with the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The actress during a recent interview has said that her dad is a Kashmiri Pandit while her mother is English and therefore she is half Indian.
Equating her birth status with that of Rahul Gandhi, she said that Rahul Gandhi is half Indian and half Italian because his father is an Indian and his mother is an Italian by birth. The Congress Party came down heavily on Katrina for making such a controversial statement and the actress immediately realized the blunder she had committed. She expressed her apologies and said that she did not mean to hurt anyone.
