New Moon Studios are producing Kaantham with Tej and Rakshmi. The film is going to be a romantic comedy. This is Tej's third film signed after Kadhaluku Maranamillai and Konjam Veyil Konjam Mazhai. Director Sharavanan has also penned the dialogues and is handling screenplay. The talkie portion of the film and two songs are done. The film was shot in Ooty, Bangalore, and Mysore. For the remaining songs, a set has been erected in Chennai.
Pandiaraj has an important role in this film. After the rave reviews he got for his performance in Anjathey, Kaantham is sure to generate high expectations. Pandiarajan and Tej will be doing a lot of comedy sequences in this film. Apparently, they had the crew laughing their heads off with their antics together.
