The Tamil film industry is against the atrocities committed by the Sri Lankan government on the Tamils there during the internal strife and has passed a resolution not to travel to that country for film shooting. It has also been decided to ban any star who visits Sri Lanka in their professional capacity.
Since Tamannah has revealed that she will be going to Sri Lanka, there is a call not to book her in any Tamil films from now on and to remove the Dhanush starrer Venghai from the theatres as a mark of protest.
