I like the character roles. Somewhere back there I really came to the conclusion in my mind that the difference between acting and stardom was major. And that if you become a star, people are going to go to see you. If you remain an actor, they're going to go and see the story you're in. The famous quotation was marked by the classic Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman. Perhaps, if one could relate the actor in Tamil film industry, who was keen on following this quotation as his mantra of success, it could be none other than late actor Murali.
From the time, he made his debut with ‘Poovilangu’ till his last film ‘Baana Kaathadi’, where he appeared in cameo role, the actor had offered special delight to his fans (universal fans) with his screen presence. Even the greatest superstars regarded him as the role model in maintaining a healthy life. But it was a sudden shock that left everyone blown out of waters a year before on this day – ACTOR MURALI PASSED AWAY.
The actor had always showed up with pleasant performance never leaving him away from the line of ‘perfection’. His films are so attention-grabbing and his versatility over performing any sort of roles both serious and hilarious ones have been his special USP.
