Ganesh Venkatraman seems to be in
full work mode. Post his well-received performance in Panithuli, he has
moved on to the bilingual film Chandra in which he stars opposite Shriya
Saran. In the film, he plays the character of a handsome young prince.
Sources close to the unit say that the makers wanted to put use Ganesh’s good looks to their character’s advantage, and shaped him like a Mills and Boons alpha male hero; typically handsome, flirtatious, intense and extremely desirable.

While Shriya plays a last-generation princess brought up in a constrained and traditional atmosphere, Ganesh plays a broad-minded prince brought up in America.
Directed by Roopa Iyer, it has also has Kannada actor Prem in the lead and Vivek and Sukanya playing key roles.
“People appreciated my screen presence in Panithuli and there have been many offers coming my way. I am being extremely selective about the scripts and the characters that I choose,” explains Ganesh.
