Pithamaghan is a super hit film which had Vikram and Surya in the lead and directed by Bala. Vikram got the National Award for this film.Now this film is being remade in Hindi. Sanjay Dutt will be donning the role of Vikram. Hindi director Satish Kaushik has acquired the remake rights.
Sathish while speaking to the media said,” Actually I wanted to remake this film when it was released. But due some reasons this film was not remade. Now the rime has come up for this film to be remade.Sanjay Dutt after seeing the film was awestruck. I will announce the other cast and crew in due course.”
