Director S V Solai Raja who has directed the largest number of TV serials in India has received Nandi Awards twice from the late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rajashekara Reddy.
For the first time he is directing a Tamil cinema titled Neeyum Naanum. He has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues. Sanjeev who did the lead role in Kulir100 degree is doing the lead role in this film. Chethna from Delhi is pairing with Sanjeev.
Sampath Kumar, Vadhan, Master Rin Son, Master Sachin, Pasanga Saithi, Manobala, Mayilsami, Nellai Shiva, Theni Murugan, Shobana, Pithamaghan Vichu, Naan Kaduval Krishnamurthy and Anju are also starring in this film. Much importance is given for music and comedy in this film. Sriram Vijay is composing music for the lyrics penned by Na Muthukumar, Palani Bharathi, Piraisudan and Sneghan. Prem Anand is in charge of cinematography. The shooting of the film is to commence on 14th of this month and will take place in Chennai, Mumbai and Goa.
